Built by  "Ding Bob" this was the first non-Harley (Servicar) Trike to be registered in Western Australia.

This shows what you can do with a little imagination. From single rear to dual and Aussie and Debbie did it themselves.

Originally built by Ding Bob for Gary Edwards this trike was purchased by Aussie and Debbie Sanders (Dec 2002) who are going to replace the single rear seat with a Dual rear seat and use it for winery tours in Victoria.

Finally here is the finished product - after months of money - hassles and late nights. We purchased the Moto Guzzi in December 2002 and knowing that Ding Bob originally built the Trike, contacted him by email to find out what all the bits were. A quick email back and we had all the information. Then we decided after looking at the Ding Bob web site that a dual rear seater would be just ideal for a little business we were trying to establish. Trike tours around the local wineries.

So I gave Bob a ring and organised shipment of a body over to Vic. Finally we got the body here and were eager to fit it but when I went to bolt it on we found that the frame had been modified to suit the original body. I shit myself and gave Bob a ring one Saturday morning. Bob told me to relax and take a few measurements. We found the body had been extended by 200ml. 

So a quick phone call to an engineer mate of mine and we had grinders and welders all happening over a couple of weekends. 

Next problem was the upholstery. No bastard wanted to do it over here. Too hard. Once again on the phone to Bob. He gave me the phone number of his upholsterer for information if any upholsterers needed his help. We finally found a bloke to do it and it looks a million dollars. 

But most of all I would like to thank Bob for his time - patience and help. Nothing was a hassle for him; he was more than willing to help anytime. Now we have got the only registered Moto Guzzi trike in Vic (had to change Vic Roads database to get registered - just another hassle but we won't go into that here.) 

Now people stand back and admire the Trike and pay us money to go for a ride on it - which is grouse.
