An example of Ding Bob's third evolution of trike design is Reg McKenneys1995 Harley. This is a high mileage trike, and is used for Reg's daily transport. Now happily retired, Reg uses it for a relaxing cruise whenever he feels the need. 

Reg purchased the Bike in early 1995. At that time he had a dicky hip and after just 75 klms realised that he would not be able to hold the bike up if it went on him so he took it along to Ding Bob to have a chat about the Trike conversion. He wanted something a little different so took some magazines with him to show Bob what he wanted. The body was specially made to Reg's requirements and when it was finished it was to quote Reg "exactly what I want". That decided, the trike conversion started in June 95 and was completed and licenced ready to hand over to Reg in October 95.

Reg has used the trike as everyday transport and has traveled extensively in WA and over East towing his own made trailer. He has won many trophies at shows and it is still a very smart looking trike. At the recent 2003 Hot Rod and Street Machine Spectacular it was a part of the West Coast Trikers club display where Reg made mention that he has now clocked up 117,000 klms and just replaced the front tyre.

117,000 klms and all that has had to be replaced was the front tyre - Good ay !!

We believe this one is doing tours in Sydney Australia. It was originally built for a Paraplegic and had a flat bed on the back to carry his wheelchair. The new owners put the fibreglass dual seat on.
